Eddy Staas

Eddy Staas has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Eddy began their career at the Belastingdienst, where they served as Hoofdcontroleur from 1982 to 1990. Eddy then moved on to Ernst & Young, working as a Senior Manager Tax from 1990 to 2000. Following this, they joined BDO Nederland, initially serving as a Tax Partner/Owner from 2000 onwards. Later, they held the position of Head of Tax/Board of Directors from October 2017 to December 2020. Additionally, Eddy Staas has been involved in various positions within non-profit organizations, such as serving as the Voorzitter bestuur at stichting Kwest, a prominent childcare organization, from April 2006 to December 2020. Currently, they are associated with Stichting WestlandTheater de Naald as Penningmeester/Lid van het bestuur, starting from May 2023. Furthermore, Eddy Staas served as a Lid raad van toezicht at Weerstandfonds from April 2014 onwards.

From 1990 to 1994, Eddy Staas attended Leiden University, where they earned a degree in Fiscal law.
