James Tong

James Tong has a diverse work experience spanning over 16 years. James started their career as a Research Assistant at Clinical Research Management, Inc., where they worked from May 2005 to October 2007. James then moved on to PPD as a Scientist, from October 2007 to November 2008. Following that, they joined ManTech International Corporation as a Project Officer from December 2008 to June 2010. From July 2010 to November 2012, they worked at Ke`aki Technologies, LLC as a Project Manager/Officer. James then transitioned to PwC, where they served as a Senior Associate from November 2012 to January 2014. James joined IQVIA next as an Engagement Manager, from January 2014 to May 2017. James then joined DXC Technology as an Account Executive, focusing on Veterans Affairs and Digital Health, from June 2017 to May 2018. James continued their career at Perspecta, serving as a Senior Director in VA and DoD Digital Health from June 2018 to May 2021. Following that, they worked at Peraton as a Senior Director of VA and Defense Health from May 2021 to July 2021. Currently, James holds the positions of Senior Vice President & General Manager and Vice President of Health at BDR Solutions LLC from July 2021.

James Tong earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biology, General, from Case Western Reserve University, where they studied from 2001 to 2005. In addition to their formal education, James has obtained the Palantir Foundry Foundations certification from Palantir Technologies in June 2023, and the SAFe Agilist Certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. in December 2021.
