Peter Short

Peter Short has extensive work experience in various engineering roles. From 2010 to 2012, they worked as a Computer Numerical Control Machinist at North West Precision Ltd, where they were responsible for machining aerospace parts and ensuring compliance with quality standards. From 2012 to 2013, they were a New Product Introduction Engineer at Erlson Precision Components, where they improved the flow-rate of product delivery and implemented a SPC computer system to reduce scrap. From 2013 to 2014, they worked as a Coordinate Measuring Machine Programmer at Standish Engineering Co Ltd, where they inspected production castings and resolved customer issues. From 2014 to 2018, they were a Process Engineer at Beldam Crossley, designing and implementing key products and providing technical sales support. From 2018 to 2022, they worked as a New Product Introduction Engineer at BCW ENGINEERING & MANUFACTURING, overseeing the design and development of new marine and automotive products. Currently, Peter works as a Quality & Process Lead at BDR Thermea Group.

Peter Short completed a Bsc(Hons) degree in Computer aided design from Liverpool John Moores University from 2002 to 2003. Prior to that, they pursued a HND in Mechanical Engineering from the same university from 1999 to 2002.
