Rocío Chanivet Guimeral

Rockie C. is a Program Manager at Lonza since March 2023, leading multidisciplinary project teams in clinical manufacturing of biologics and facilitating global collaborations. Previously, Rockie served as a Senior Scientist and Program Lead at CareDx, Inc., where product development and automation of genomics-based diagnostics were spearheaded, resulting in a first-author peer-reviewed publication on biomarkers for kidney transplant recipients. Rockie has also held positions as a Senior Scientist and Scientist II at Senti Biosciences, acting as the technical lead for gene therapy projects with Roche companies. Academic experience includes a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of California, Los Angeles, and an Internship Analyst role at Johns Hopkins Technology Ventures. Rockie holds a Ph.D. in Cellular and Molecular Medicine from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
