Ilkka Oksanen

Ilkka Oksanen has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Ilkka is currently employed as a Senior Software Engineer at Be My Eyes, where they started in 2023. Prior to this, Ilkka worked at Smartly.io as a Lead Engineer from October 2021 to March 2023, and as a Senior Software Engineer from April 2019 to October 2021. Ilkka also has experience working at Zendesk, where they held the roles of Staff Engineer from July 2016 to March 2019, and Senior Software Engineer from October 2013 to June 2016.

Before their time at Zendesk, Ilkka founded MeetAndSpeak Ltd. and served as Founder from June 2010 to July 2015. Ilkka began their career at Nokia in 2002, where they held various roles including Principal Engineer from November 2010 to October 2013, Technology Manager from June 2009 to November 2010, Senior Design Engineer from September 2005 to June 2009, and Design Engineer from June 2002 to October 2005. Additionally, Ilkka worked as a Unix Trainee at Sonera from May 2001 to August 2001.

Ilkka Oksanen attended the Tampere University of Technology from 1998 to 2004, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Software Engineering.
