Anne Douglass serves as a member of the Board of Directors for Be Strong Families since January 2017 and holds the position of Executive Director and Professor of Early Education Leaders at the University of Massachusetts Boston since September 2009. Previous experience includes roles as a Program Evaluation Consultant at the Boston Public Health Commission from 2013 to 2015 and as a Research and Evaluation Consultant for Strengthening Families Illinois from 2007 to 2012. As an educator, Anne Douglass taught Early Childhood Education at Wheelock College from September 2006 to June 2009 and worked as an Early Education Quality Improvement Consultant from 1995 to 2009. Additional leadership experience includes serving as Director of the Children's Center at Project Hope from 1992 to 2000. Anne Douglass earned a PhD in Social Policy focusing on Children, Youth, and Families from The Heller School for Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University (2005-2009), an EdM in Education from Harvard Graduate School of Education (1990-1992), and a BA in Political Science from Wellesley College (1985-1989).
