Maya Shumpert has over five years of work experience in the marketing and social media fields. In 2018, they began their career as the Marketing Lead at CalTV. Maya then moved on to become the Junior Marketing Coordinator at RangeMe in 2019. Later that same year, they took on a freelance role as a Social Media Manager and Content Creator at The UNLTD Collective. In 2020, Maya assumed the role of Associate Manager, Brand Marketing at TRX Training. In 2022, they became the Social Community Manager at Tempo. Most recently, in 2023, Maya took on the role of Social Media Digital Content Creator at PATTERN Beauty, a division of the Beach House Group.
Maya Shumpert obtained a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies from the University of California, Berkeley. In August 2020, they also obtained certifications in Inbound Marketing and Social Media Marketing from HubSpot Academy.
