Gabe Cappozzo

Gabe Cappozzo has a diverse work experience in the education field. Gabe started their career as a Special Education Teacher for Beach Park Consolidated School District 3 in 2009, where they worked for five years. Following that, they became a PBIS External Coach/Behavior Interventionist for Beach Park Consolidated School District in 2014, focusing on expanding and sustaining the implementation of PBIS. In 2016, they transitioned to Beach Park Middle School as an Assistant Principal for a year. In 2017, they progressed to become the Principal of Kennethy Murphy Elementary. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Human Resources at Beach Park School District #3, starting in 2023.

Gabe Cappozzo holds a variety of degrees and certifications in the field of education. Gabe earned their Master of Arts in Principal Preparation from Concordia University Chicago in 2014-2016. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's in Special Education K-12 LBS1 from the University of Phoenix from 2007-2009. Gabe also holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Finance from Lakeland College (2005-2007) and a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Business/Management from Lakeland College (2002-2004). In 1996-1998, Gabe received an Associate's degree in Accounting from Madison Area Technical College. Furthermore, they have achieved a certification as an SWIS Facilitator/PBIS from Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports.
