Jennifer Downey

Jennifer Downey has over 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry. Jennifer most recently worked as the Director of Corporate Coding and CDI at Beacon Health System, starting in December 2015. Prior to that, they were the Coding, CDI, EMPI Manager at Memorial Hospital of South Bend for 10 years. Jennifer also held roles such as Assistant Director of Medical Records at La Porte Hospital, Coding and Documentation Trainer at Memorial Medical Group, Coding Specialist at Starke Memorial Hospital, and Health Record Coder/Analyst II at Memorial Hospital of South Bend.

Jennifer Downey obtained an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Health Information/Medical Records Technology/Technician from Purdue University Fort Wayne in 1995. Jennifer then went on to earn a Bachelor's degree in General Studies from Indiana University South Bend, completing their education in 2015.
