Melinda Franks

Melinda Franks is an experienced healthcare executive currently serving as the Executive Director at Beacon Health System since August 2024. Previously, Melinda held the position of Chief Business Officer at Vanderbilt University Medical Center from June 2021 to October 2023. Additionally, Melinda worked as COO and Acquisition Leader at CEVC, where responsibilities included leading the corporate acquisition and successful integration of two hospitals from August 2018 to November 2020. Prior roles include serving as Clinical Administrator for Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery at Emory Healthcare from April 2013 to July 2018 and Director of Operations for the Department of Surgery at UPMC from February 2010 to March 2013. Melinda holds a Master of Business Administration in Global Business Strategy from the University of Pittsburgh Katz Graduate School of Business and has completed education at European Business School in Germany.
