Amy Johnson started their work experience in 1998 as a Program Manager at UnitedHealth Group. Throughout their tenure, they managed enterprise-wide adoption and marketing of programs and administered contracts, vendor relationships, and processes.
In 2009, they became the Director of Enterprise Integration Services at UnitedHealth Group, where they co-managed the enterprise-wide adoption of integrations and migrations to align customer service centers and complete the migration of legacy claim platforms.
From 2016 to 2020, Amy served as the Director of Optum State Government Solutions at UnitedHealth Group, where they managed multiple contracts over $100 million each, acting as the primary point of contact and escalation for all functional areas defined in the project.
In 2021, Amy joined ModivCare, formerly LogistiCare, as the Senior Director of Client Services. In this role, they managed national, local market, and state government contracts totaling over $500 million, overseeing daily operations and collaborating with various departments to meet contract performance standards and financial goals.
Amy's most recent role is the Vice President of Account Management at Beacon Healthcare Systems, starting in 2022. In this executive position, they oversee the client-facing organization and contracted relationships with Managed Care companies of varying sizes. Their responsibilities include ensuring SLAs are met, partnering with clients on growth initiatives, upselling products to existing clients, and identifying future opportunities.
Amy Johnson obtained an Associate's degree from Normandale Community College and a Certificate in Health Unit Coordinator from Hennepin Technical College.
