Jennifer Patterson

Jennifer Patterson is the Director of Administration/FSO at Beacon Hill Staffing Group. Jennifer has over fifteen years of experience in the arts administration field. Jennifer began their career as an Artistic Administrator at the Boston Lyric Opera from January 2005 to December 2008. In this role, they consulted with the General Director in casting international, national and local artists. Jennifer also negotiated contracts for high quality artists, conductors, directors and stage management in a fiscally responsible manner. In addition, they selected and heard annual auditions for chorus and comprimario roles.

From 2009 to 2011, Jennifer was the Managing Director at the American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) in Cambridge, MA. In this role, they oversaw all aspects of the theater's operations, including budgeting, marketing, human resources, and production. Jennifer was also responsible for the A.R.T.'s strategic planning and artistic programming.

From 2012 to 2014, Jennifer served as the Executive Director of the Boston Early Music Festival (BEMF). In this role, they managed the festival's $4 million budget and oversaw its fundraising, marketing, and educational outreach efforts. Jennifer also led the BEMF's transition to a new organizational structure and helped secure its long-term financial stability.

Jennifer has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music from Harvard University and a Master of Arts degree in Arts Administration from Boston University.

Jennifer Patterson attended the Longy School of Music, where they earned their Master of Music degree in Opera Performance. Jennifer also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree and Certificate from Mount Holyoke College in Political Science, English, and Irish Studies.

They are on a team with Jim Demone - Corporate Controller & Director of Accounting, Matt Depin - Assistant Controller, and Tom Mello - Cash-In Manager. Their manager is Aaron Mace, Managing Director and CFO, Executive Committee Member.
