Jerry McDonald has a diverse work experience in the healthcare and recovery industry. Jerry started in 2011 as the Founder and CEO of MANDM Recovery, overseeing the operations of the company. In the same year, they also worked as a Consultant for the Betty Ford Center, providing expertise and guidance. From 2011 to 2014, they held the position of National Marketing Director at Beacon House Pacific Grove, where they managed marketing strategies. In 2014, they transitioned to become the Outreach Manager at the Betty Ford Center until 2015. In 2015, Jerry McDonald became the Vice President of Operations & Strategic Planning at Beacon House Pacific Grove.

Jerry McDonald attended Swissvale High School in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania from 1950 to 1954. During their time there, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Government. After completing high school, Jerry enrolled at Ohio State University in 1956 and graduated in 1961 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology.
