Andrew L. Stern

Andrew (Andy) Stern is a Partner and Managing Director at Beacon Pointe Advisors and is responsible for client service and new client development. Prior to joining Beacon Pointe, Andy was a Managing Partner and co-founder at YorkBridge Wealth Partners (which merged with Beacon Pointe in 2023). Andy spent 17 years at Morgan Stanley and predecessor firms, first as an analyst at Smith Barney Asset Management, then rising through the ranks to become, among other roles, Co-Portfolio Manager of a U.S.-based large-cap growth equity portfolio with nearly $1B in assets. Andy received his MBA from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University and his undergraduate degree from Emory University. He lives in Amagansett with his wife and three children. Outside of the office, Andy coaches’ youth sports and he and his wife are involved in several local non-profit organizations.
