Mark Sam Chee

Mark Sam Chee has extensive experience in financial planning and analysis, data analytics, and venture capital. Mark currently holds the position of Director of Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis at Beacon Building Products. Before that, they were the Vice President of Data Analytics at StepStone Group and the Director of Data Analytics at Greenspring Associates. Mark previously worked at Beacon Building Products, where they held the roles of Director of Financial Planning & Analysis, Business Analytics, and Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis, Business Analytics. Mark also has experience in finance and risk analysis from their time at T. Rowe Price, where they served as a Finance Manager, Financial Analyst II, and Risk and Compliance Analyst. Mark began their career with internships in accounting and financial sales before joining Chevy Chase Bank as a Customer Service Representative.

Mark Sam Chee completed their Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Virginia in 2006. Mark then pursued a Master of Science degree in Biomedical Forensic Science from the Boston University School of Medicine in 2007. Mark later obtained their MBA/MS in Finance from the University of Maryland - Robert H. Smith School of Business in 2012.
