Shalil Fernandes

Shalil Fernandes has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Shalil began their career at GE, where they served as an Inventory Program Manager from 2001 to 2003. Shalil then took on the role of Quality Black Belt in Supply Chain Operations from 2003 to 2004, followed by a position as Strategic Sourcing Manager from 2004 to 2007. Fernandes then joined Gexpro in 2008, where they served as Manager of Global Sourcing and Inventory Operations until 2011. From 2011 to 2013, they held the position of Division Purchasing Manager (Southeast) at Gexpro. In 2014, Fernandes moved to Rexel USA as the Director of Procurement, a role they held until 2022. Currently, they are serving as the Vice President of Supply Chain for the South Division at Beacon Building Products.

Shalil Fernandes obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the University of Mumbai between 1994 and 1997. Later, from 1999 to 2001, they pursued a Masters degree in Industrial Management & Supply Chain Management at Clemson University.
