Josie Madingo

Josie Madingo has extensive work experience in finance, insurance, and taxation. Josie is currently the Co-Founder and Chief Financial Officer of Beagle Labs, a role they began in 2022. Prior to this, they owned Beagle Drones since 2017 and held the position of Chief Financial Officer. Josie'sresponsibilities included implementing financial systems, improving operations, cash flow management, creating financial statements, budgeting, raising capital, and managing mergers and acquisitions.

From 2020 to 2022, Josie owned Spring Rock Solutions, where they provided insurance brokerage services and acted as a Fractional CFO. As an insurance broker, they attracted clients, researched policy options, negotiated with underwriters, and managed client relationships. As a Fractional CFO, they set up financial systems, improved operations, developed cash flow strategies, prepared financial statements, created budgets, and assisted in capital raising and mergers and acquisitions.

Before starting their own ventures, Josie worked as a Licensed Insurance Agent at White & Associates Insurance from 2019 to 2020 and Farmers Insurance from 2019 to 2020. In these roles, they developed insurance quotes, made sales presentations, closed sales, established client relationships, and built networking connections with small business owners.

Josie also has experience as a Sales & Use Tax Specialist at Solvay in 2017 and as a Financial Representative at Primerica from 2016 to 2017
