Nick Planeta

Nick Planeta is the Senior Vice President of Insurance & Partnerships at Beam Benefits, an InsurTech company focused on modernizing employee benefits. Since joining Beam in September 2021, Nick has successfully launched nine new employee benefits products within 24 months and played a key role in building the Insurance Product organization. Prior to Beam, Nick held various leadership positions at Unum, including Dental & Vision Business Leader, where responsibilities included overseeing a $300 million insurance business and leading digital transformation projects. Nick's experience also encompasses roles at Liberty Mutual Insurance and Kantar, focusing on corporate strategy and marketing analytics. Nick earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Colby College and an MBA from Babson College.
