Eran Tiktin

Eran Tiktin has a diverse work experience spanning over many years. Eran started their career at mce Systems in 2007, where they worked as a QA Engineer, creating and executing test cases for the company's software and hardware solutions. From there, they moved on to become a Server-Side Engineer, developing and maintaining a licensing solution and back office services using ASP.NET and SQL Server.

In 2010, Eran became the Head of Server-Side at mce Systems, where they were responsible for developing new server-side capabilities using PHP and MySQL. Eran later transitioned to using AWS Linux AMI and Nginx on AWS for server-side development.

In 2013, Eran took on the role of Head of Data Services, where they designed and developed a near real-time reporting and analytics system using ASP.NET, MongoDB, and SQL Server. Eran also built and trained a new dedicated team for this project.

Eran then joined Beamr in 2016 as a Senior Software Engineer. In this role, they designed and developed video solutions using Python for Linux environments. Eran worked on projects such as a video optimizer and a cluster management solution. Eran also mentored junior developers, conducted code reviews, created test suites, and established build pipelines.

In 2018, Eran was promoted to Head of Apps and Services at Beamr. Here, they led and managed a team that designed and developed video solutions using Python for Linux environments. Eran played a key role in designing and building a new live transcoder solution, mentoring junior developers, and implementing best practices.

Overall, Eran Tiktin has a proven track record in software development, particularly in video solutions and server-side capabilities. Eran has experience working with multiple programming languages and technologies, and has demonstrated leadership skills in managing and mentoring teams.

Eran Tiktin completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from The Academic College of Tel-Aviv, Yaffo, from 2009 to 2012.
