Margaret Schneider

Margaret Schneider currently serves as Scientist II in LNP Process Development at Beam Therapeutics, a position held since April 2023. Previously, Margaret worked at Thermo Fisher Scientific for two years, progressing from Scientist II to Scientist III in MST/Process Sciences. A Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Maryland in late 2020, Margaret's research focused on age-related changes in tendon crosslinking in the Fischell Department of Bioengineering. At the University of Colorado Boulder, Margaret completed a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, where the dissertation involved engineering network heterogeneities in photoclickable poly(ethylene glycol) hydrogels for cartilage tissue engineering. Margaret's technical skills are broad, encompassing cell culture, histology, immunohistochemistry, and dynamic mechanical testing, among others. Earlier experience includes internships at Linde Gas and PepsiCo - Frito Lay.
