Shawna Bechtel

Shawna Bechtel currently serves as the Gaming Commissioner at Bear River Casino Resort, responsible for overseeing gaming licenses, machines, and events since July 2024. Concurrently, Shawna holds the position of Tribal Wellness Court Manager for the Bear River Band of Rohnerville Rancheria, focusing on the day-to-day operations of the Healing to Wellness Court since January 2024. Previous experience includes leading roles at PCC OMIC Training Center and Portland Community College, where responsibilities spanned data management, administrative support, and customer service across various functions. Shawna holds an Associate's degree in Accounting and Business/Management from Portland Community College and a Bachelor of Arts in Health Care Administration/Management from George Fox University.
