Peter Beare

Peter founded Bear Web Design in Nashville, Tennessee in May of 2000 and has been actively involved in web design & development, web content management & education, web hosting & management as well as internet marketing. His experience gained by working with clients from the sales cycle to launching a new website to overseeing a client’ s second & third generation redesigns & developments has given him a unique understanding and perspective of business websites on internet. This allows him to serve their client base with expert leadership & service with a completely hands on approach.

Peter is constantly learning and developing new skills in a fast changing web industry and he regularly attends national & international conferences. In November 2013 Peter attended the Joomla World Conference held at Harvard University in Boston as part of the on going commitment to keep Bear Web Design at the cutting edge of Web Design and Development. In 2016 Peter traveled to Vancouver to attend the 2016 Joomla World Conference. In December of 2017 Peter attended WordCamp in Nashville and then in January 2019 Peter presented to the Joomla Users Group in Melbourne, Australia.

Peter has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Middle Tennessee State University where he attended on a tennis scholarship. Peter was a state and nationally ranked junior tennis player in Australia. He is a proud 40 year member of the Melbourne Cricket Club (MCC) – which is Australia’s Largest Sporting Club. Peter also co-founded the Nashville Kangaroos and the Australian Festival in 1997 which have promoted Australian football & Australian culture in Nashville & Middle Tennessee for more than 25 years.
