Bret Sumner is a Senior Partner at Beatty and Wozniak, with a practice concentrating on energy and infrastructure projects, natural resources litigation, permitting, and environmental compliance. Since March 2009, Bret has collaborated with various companies in the oil and gas, helium, renewables, pipelines, and electric transmission sectors. In addition, Bret serves as the Vice Chair for Government Affairs on the Board of Directors of Western Energy Alliance and has been involved with the Denver Petroleum Club as a Board member. Prior experience includes a role as a Senior Associate at Fulbright & Jaworski from September 1998 to February 2009. Bret holds a Juris Doctor from The Catholic University of America and has education credentials from the University of Colorado Boulder and James Madison University.
