Beatrice Ake

Beatrice Ake is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in youth coordination and advocacy. Currently serving as a Youth Coordinator and Case Manager at Beautiful Day since January 2024, Beatrice has previously held positions such as School-Based Advocate at Sojourner House from September 2020 to September 2023, and Youth Program Facilitator at Federal Hill House for a brief period in the summer of 2020. Beatrice’s experience also includes volunteer work with the Peace Corps, serving as a Health Extension Volunteer and Third Year Volunteer from February 2017 to December 2019. Beatrice began a career in health services as a Student Intern at Neighborhood Health Plan of Rhode Island between June 2015 and December 2016. Beatrice earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Global and Environmental Health Studies from the University of Rhode Island, completing studies in 2016.
