Beautiful Minds

At Beautiful Minds, we believe that all minds are beautiful and can be changed by a strong therapeutic relationship and use of evidence-based practices. As a youth-guided, family-centered agency, youth and their families are assigned providers with experience relevant to neurodiverse treatment needs. We are trauma certified and have developed additional specialties based on experience and passions. As strength-based professionals, we are dedicated to providing specialized mental and behavioral healthcare services to youth and families living in New Jersey. The Beautiful Minds approach is shaped by the study of neuroscience, Applied Behavior Analysis, and positive psychology. Neuroscience: Experiences can alter the functions of the brain. An individual, like his or her brain, can flourish and grow, when nurtured and supported. Neuroscience has taught us that our own neuroplasticity allows for change through the creation of new neural pathways and losing those which are no longer used. Applied Behavior Analysis: Understanding an individual’s behaviors can lead to change. When behaviors are reinforced or rewarded, they are repeated. Positive Psychology: An individual’s focus on the positive can foster personal growth. Building upon existing strengths and traits can increase satisfaction and engagement.
