Sonia Patankar

Sonia Patankar, PharmD, MBA, currently serves as the Clinical Manager of Patient Services at Shields Health Solutions, a role held since March 2022. Previously, Sonia was the Pharmacy Manager at Total Health Care, Inc. from February 2020 to March 2022, where responsibilities included managing pharmacy operations and implementing a successful Pharmacy Diabetes Management program that significantly improved patient care metrics. From March 2011 to January 2020, Sonia worked at CVS Health, advancing from Staff Pharmacist to Pharmacy Manager, where leadership led to notable enhancements in customer experience and operational efficiency. Early career experiences included a Pharmacy Technician role at Giant Eagle. Sonia holds a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Jefferson Health and an MBA from the Fox School of Business at Temple University. Additionally, an undergraduate degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences was earned from The Ohio State University.
