Benjamin Kuykendall

Benjamin Kuykendall has a diverse work experience in various educational settings. Benjamin has worked as a Science Teacher at the Beaverton School District since 2022. Prior to that, they were a Ground Crew member at Northstar Trekking from May 2022 to August 2022. Benjamin also served as a Science Teacher at the Peoria Unified School District from January 2022 to May 2022.

Benjamin has extensive experience at Grand Canyon University, where they worked as a Lead tutor for science and math classes from April 2021 to December 2021. Benjamin also served as a Resident Assistant from August 2019 to April 2021. Additionally, they worked as a Teaching Intern at Tolleson Union High School, teaching high school biology and creating online lessons, from January 2021 to December 2021.

Benjamin has a background in research as well, having worked as a Research Assistant at Oregon State University from June 2021 to August 2021. Benjamin assisted in conducting research in the benthic ecology lab under Dr. Sarah Henkel, with funding from the National Science Foundation.

In terms of earlier experience, Benjamin served as a Campus Supervisor at Thomas Olaeta Elementary School from April 2018 to June 2021. Benjamin also worked as a Teaching Intern at the same school from January 2020 to April 2020. Benjamin briefly worked as a Freelance Video Editor at Centurion & Supreme Boats from July 2020 to August 2020. Additionally, they served as a Teaching Intern at Central High School from January 2020 to April 2020, and at Westwood Elementary School from August 2019 to December 2019.

Benjamin Kuykendall completed their high school education at Merced High School from 2014 to 2018, earning a high school diploma. Following this, they pursued further education at Grand Canyon University from 2018 to 2022. During this time, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Biology, with an emphasis in secondary education.
