Benjamin Lloyd has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Benjamin started their career as a Modular Furniture Installer at Brigham Young University in 2003 and worked in that role until 2006. Following that, they briefly worked as a Spanish Interpreter at Flowserve for a few months in 2006. Benjamin then joined Beaverton School District in 2006 as a Spanish Teacher and held that position until 2015. Benjamin transitioned into the role of Technology Education Teacher for a year before becoming a Canvas Trainer from 2016 to 2017. Benjamin also served as a Synergy Trainer from 2012 to 2020 and played a significant role in library and instructional technology as a Library and Instructional Technology Teacher from 2016 to 2021. Currently, they work as a Technology & CTE Teacher starting from June 2021 at Beaverton School District.

Benjamin Lloyd earned their Bachelor's degree in Spanish Teaching from Brigham Young University, where they studied from 2000 to 2006. Subsequently, they pursued higher education and obtained a Master's degree in Educational Technology from Boise State University, from 2008 to 2010.
