Colleen Sherman M. Ed. has a diverse work experience in the field of education. Colleen began their career in 1995 as a Special Education Teacher at NarrowsView Intermediate School, where they developed and implemented individualized education plans for students with various disabilities. In 1997, they moved on to St. Charles Borromeo Catholic School, where they taught 5th grade and later took on the role of 7th/8th Grade Teacher and Assistant Principal, overseeing curriculum programs and handling disciplinary matters.
In 2003, Colleen established their own consulting company, Colleen C. Sherman Consulting, where they worked as an Education Consultant. Colleen provided expertise and guidance in the field of education. During this time, they gained experience coordinating technology training programs, modeling technology-driven lessons, and assisting teachers in integrating technology into their curriculum.
Colleen joined Holy Family Catholic School in 2003 as a Technology/Education Consultant. Colleen coordinated the school's technology training program, modeled technology-driven lessons across all grade levels, and assisted teachers in creating technology-integrated lessons and units.
From 2007 to 2015, Colleen served as an Associate Faculty at City University of Seattle, where they contributed to the instruction and mentorship of aspiring educators.
Currently, Colleen works for Beaverton School District as a 6-8 Language Arts & Literacy Teacher and a Special Education Teacher. Colleen brings their expertise and experience to help students succeed in these subjects.
Colleen Sherman M. Ed. obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Special Education and Teaching from Gonzaga University. Colleen attended the university from 1991 to 1995. Following that, they pursued a Masters in Literacy from Pacific Lutheran University from 1999 to 2001, focusing on Literacy and Technology Literacy.
