Janelle Brandt has a diverse work experience in the field of volleyball. Janelle started working as a JV/Freshmen Volleyball Coach at Crescent Valley High School in 2005. Janelle then served as a Club Volleyball Coach at Rose City Volleyball Club from 2008 to 2011. Concurrently, they worked as a Volleyball Camp Coach at OSU Volleyball Camps in 2008 and at Guy Enrique's Team Camp in 2010. From 2008 to 2017, Janelle was the Head Volleyball Coach at Aloha High School, where they also worked as a Student Teacher from 2015 to 2015. In 2011, they became the Track Coach at Westview High School until 2014. Janelle also served as the Club Director at Warriors Volleyball Club from 2011 to 2017. In 2010, they joined the Beaverton School District as an Instructional Assistant Special Education and eventually became a Special Education Teacher at Westview High School in 2015. Lastly, they held the position of Head Volleyball Coach at Westview High School starting in 2017, overseeing the entire Volleyball program. Additionally, Janelle has been the Club Volleyball Director at Wildcats Volleyball Club since 2017, where they are responsible for managing all club operations and coaching the 14U team.
Janelle Brandt obtained their first educational qualification, a High School Diploma in High School/Secondary Diplomas and Certificates, from North Salem High School in the years 1999 to 2003. Janelle then went on to pursue further education at Linn-Benton Community College from 2003 to 2005, earning an Associate's of Science degree in Exercise Science. Following this, they attended Oregon State University from 2005 to 2007 and completed a Bachelor's of Science degree in Exercise and Sport Science. Lastly, Janelle pursued higher education at Portland State University from 2013 to 2016, where they obtained a Master's Degree in Special Education and Teaching.
