Kelly O'Brien-Carnevale has a diverse work experience in the education sector. Kelly started their career in 2004 as a Teacher in the San Francisco Unified School District. In 2007, they joined the Palo Alto Unified School District where they served as an EL Coordinator, Teacher, and BTSA coach until 2016. During their time at Stanford University from 2009 to 2011, they worked as a CLAD facilitator. Currently, Kelly is working as an EL coach/teacher at the Beaverton School District since 2016.
Kelly O'Brien-Carnevale completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in English from California State University, Fresno, between 1992 and 1995. Kelly then pursued further education and achieved a Master of Arts degree in Secondary Education, with a focus on Children's Literature, from the University of San Francisco between 2002 and 2004.
