Lynette Podkranic has a diverse work experience. In 2012, they began volunteering for the Girl Scouts of Oregon & SW Washington in community leadership roles, which they continued until 2021. In 2020, they worked as a Residential Care Facilitator at LifeWorks NW, providing counseling services to women in recovery and their children. From 2021, they started volunteering as a College & Career Center Mentor at Tigard High School. In 2022, they joined the Beaverton School District as a Restricted License Substitute Teacher.

Lynette Podkranic has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Washington State University. Lynette also holds a Master's degree in Applied Economics from Portland State University. In 2021, they obtained a certification in Cloud computing, specifically as a Certified Cloud Practitioner, from Amazon Web Services (AWS). In addition, they pursued a counseling field of study at Portland Community College from 2020 to 2021, although they did not earn a degree in that field. Lynette further increased their expertise by obtaining the "Foundations: Data, Data, Everywhere" certification from Coursera in August 2022.
