Zoë Ball

Middle School Art Teacher at Beaverton School District

Zoë Ball has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Zoë began their career as an ASUI Senator at the University of Idaho, where they were elected by undergraduate peers to represent them and collaborated with fellow senators to organize events and activities. In 2014, they joined the University of Idaho and served in this role until January 2016.

From 2015 to 2018, Zoë worked with Village Camps as a Color Group Leader, responsible for supervising a group of campers. During this time, they gained experience in team management and leadership.

In 2017, Zoë took on the role of an Art Teacher at the Corvallis School District 509J, where they taught art to students. Concurrently, they also worked as a Contracted Artist at The Arts Center of Corvallis OR, allowing their to pursue their artistic endeavors alongside their teaching role.

In 2018, Zoë joined One River School of Art + Design, initially serving as an Assistant Director before being promoted to Director of Education in October 2019. In these positions, they were responsible for overseeing the educational programs and ensuring high-quality art instruction was provided to students. Their tenure at One River School of Art + Design lasted until August 2022.

Most recently, in 2022, Zoë took on the role of a Middle School Art Teacher at the Beaverton School District. Their current position enables their to continue their passion for teaching art to students.

Zoë Ball attended the University of Idaho from 2013 to 2016, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Art Education. Their field of study was Art Teacher Education. In November 2017, they obtained a Preliminary Teaching Teacher License from the Teacher Standards and Practices Commission. Zoë also obtained First Aid and CPR certification from CPR WORKS LLC in February 2017.
