Claus Bjørn Galbo-Jørgensen

Claus Bjørn Galbo-Jørgensen has over two decades of work experience in various roles and industries. Their most recent role is as Chief Economist at Bech-Bruun, starting in 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Economist at Gorrissen Federspiel from 2021 to 2022. From 2019 to 2021, Claus was the Head of Division at Konkurrence- og Forbrugerstyrelsen.

Claus has also held several positions at Incentive DK, including Senior Manager and Partner from 2018 to 2019, Manager and Partner from 2012 to 2018, Senior Consultant from 2010 to 2012, and Consultant from 2008 to 2009. Claus Bjørn co-founded and served on the board of Two Scenarios, a software solutions company, from 2013 onwards.

Additionally, Claus has academic experience as a Part-time Associate Professor and Teaching Assistant at the University of Copenhagen, Department of Economics, from 2005 onwards. Claus Bjørn has also worked as a Consultant at COWI, providing economic advisory services to clients such as the World Bank and the European Commission, from 2007 to 2008.

Earlier in their career, Claus held roles as an Analyst at Danske Bank from 2006 to 2007, a Junior Analyst at Danmarks Nationalbank from 2002 to 2004, and an IT Consultant at NNIT from 2000 to 2002.

Throughout their career, Claus has demonstrated expertise in areas such as economics, consulting, software development, and financial modeling.

Claus Bjørn Galbo-Jørgensen attended Birkerød Gymnasium from 1996 to 1999, where they pursued their high school degree with a focus on math and social sciences. Claus Bjørn later enrolled at Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen from 2000 to 2006, where they earned a M.Sc degree in Economics. In 2004, Claus also had the opportunity to study at the University of California, Berkeley, focusing on Economics during their time there. Additionally, Claus obtained The Leading Senior Associate Programme certification in April 2023 from the University of Cambridge, Judge Business School.
