Matthew Rhyner has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Matthew began their career as a Process Engineer at Anheuser-Busch and later worked as a Quality Assurance Engineer at Solvay. Matthew then joined the National Science Foundation as a Fellow before moving on to a managerial role at Emory University. In 2007, they joined Beckman Coulter Life Sciences as a Research Equipment Sales Consultant and later became a Sr. Product Manager. Matthew's roles at Beckman Coulter Diagnostics include Global Strategic Marketing Director, Sr. Director of Marketing and Product Management for Hematology, Vice President and General Manager of Urinalysis, and currently, Vice President of Immunoassay Product and Program Management, Technical Publications. Throughout their positions, they have demonstrated leadership and accountability in managing global teams and driving business unit performance.
Matthew Rhyner holds a Master's degree in Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, which they obtained from 2009 to 2013. Prior to that, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Biomedical Engineering from Emory University and Georgia Institute of Technology from 2002 to 2007. Matthew also earned a BS (Highest Honors) in Chemical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology from 1998 to 2002. In addition to their academic qualifications, Matthew Rhyner has obtained certifications as a Master Scuba Diver from PADI and advanced Spanish fluency from Duolingo.
