Carla Burigatto

Carla Burigatto is the SVP, Chief Communications Officer at Becton Dickinson. Carla has over 20 years of experience in communications and public relations, working with companies in the science, energy, technology, health care and consumer industries. Carla began their career as a Communications Assistant at the Recording Industry Association of America before moving on to Gibbs & Soell Public Relations, where they eventually became an Account Supervisor. In 2001, they joined AstraZeneca as their Corporate Affairs Director for the Northeast region. After seven years with the company, they left to start their own communications and marketing consultancy. In 2012, they were recruited by Campbell Soup Company to head up their external communications department. Carla remained with the company for five years before joining Haemonetics as their Vice President of Global Communications in 2017. Carla has been with Becton Dickinson since June 2021.

Carla Burigatto attended the MIT Sloan School of Management and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology before completing their education at Georgetown University.
