Hermes Vallejo

Hermes Vallejo is a seasoned IT executive with extensive experience in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries. Currently serving as VP of IT, Medical at BD since May 2020, Vallejo previously held multiple leadership roles at Stryker, including Vice President for IS Governance & Architecture and Group Information Officer for Orthopedics. Vallejo's responsibilities have included managing global IT portfolio management and compliance programs, leading significant SAP implementations, and establishing Centers of Excellence for key operational areas. In earlier roles at BD and other companies, Vallejo demonstrated expertise in IT validation and compliance, significantly reducing audit findings. Education includes a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Rutgers University.
