Jim Lin

Jim Lin is a seasoned professional in human factors engineering with a focus on medical devices and technology. Currently serving as a Senior Staff Human Factors Engineer at BD since June 2023, Jim has previously held significant roles at Johnson & Johnson, including Manager and Staff Human Factors Engineer for Robotics and Digital Solutions. Earlier experience includes positions at Verb Surgical Inc., Novartis, and Nektar Therapeutics, where Jim led product development and risk management initiatives, notably collaborating with the World Health Organization and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Biomechanical Engineering from Stanford University and additional coursework towards a Master of Social Work at San José State University.
