Matthew Schwartz

Matthew Schwartz has been a Partner at Bederson LLP since 1989 and has served as President of the Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Advisors since January 2003. Additionally, Matthew held the position of Treasurer at both the New Jersey Arts Incubator from 2012 to 2014 and LatinoJustice PRLDEF from 2008 to 2014. Matthew was also President of the West Orange Chamber of Commerce from 2010 to 2011. In academia, Matthew worked as an Adjunct Professor teaching Macroeconomics at Skylands Community College in 1989 and various accounting courses at Kean University from 1982 to 1987. Matthew earned an MBA in Accounting from Rutgers University - Newark and a BA with Distinction in Economics from the University of Virginia.
