Will Montgomery

Assistant Head, Teaching & Learning at Bedford School

Mr Montgomery is in charge of the development of teaching across the Upper School, with the aim of improving the learning experience of pupils. He also teaches Geography and coaches both squash and cricket, two of his passions.

Mr Montgomery studied Geography at Nottingham University and joined us for the first time in 2006. During this time, he was an Assistant House Master in Pemberley boarding house, Master in charge of Squash and also latterly Head of General Education. Having moved to London to spend two years as Head of Geography at Mill Hill School in Barnet, he returned to Bedford to succeed Richard Walker as Head of Geography in 2013. He joined the school’s Core Management Team as Assistant Head (Teaching & Learning) in 2015.
