Alexa Hill (Dear)

Alexa Hill Dear has a diverse work experience in the education sector. Alexa currently works as a Freelance Content Designer at GCSEPod since March 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Freelance Curriculum Planning and Design Specialist. In 2022, Alexa volunteered as a Resource Reviewer at Macmillan Cancer Support and also worked as a Freelance Writer at Mrs H Educates and Content Creator at Bedrock Learning. Alexa'searlier roles include being the Head of English Department at Wixams Academy from 2018 and an English Teacher at Wootton Upper School from 2013 to 2018, during which time they also served as the PSHCE Lead.

Alexa Hill (Dear) completed their education with a PGCE Secondary and QTS in English Language and Literature, General from Bedfordshire Schools Training Partnership in 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a BA Hons degree in English Literature from the University of Hertfordshire between 2009 and 2012. Alexa'seducation journey began at Samuel Whitbread Community College, where they studied from 2004 to 2009.
