Eric Jessen

Eric Jessen has extensive experience in human resources and organizational development. Eric currently holds the position of National HR Director at Bedrosians Tile and Stone, where they oversee a team supporting 1,000 employees across 40+ locations. In this role, they are responsible for managing all HR functional areas and ensuring consistent and scalable HR practices.

Prior to their current role, Eric served as the Director of HR (Interim) at Granville Homes, where they provided HR leadership and support. Before that, they worked at Amazon as a Senior Human Resources Manager, leading an HR team for a new fulfillment center. Eric also held the position of Vice President of Human Resources at Rain For Rent, where they oversaw HR operations for the company's locations in the US, Canada, and Europe.

Eric's earlier experience includes positions at CalCom Energy and Fuller Theological Seminary. At CalCom Energy, they served as HR Director, overseeing HR, IT, and finance functions for a solar construction company. Eric also worked at Fuller Theological Seminary, where they held various HR roles, including Director of Human Resources and Organizational Development and Assistant Director of HR and Organizational Development. In these roles, they were responsible for recruitment, payroll, training and development, benefits, performance management, and internal communication.

Eric Jessen obtained a Bachelor's degree in Ancient Studies/Civilization from St. Olaf College, which they attended from 2000 to 2004. Eric continued their education at Fuller Theological Seminary from 2005 to 2012, where they earned a Master of Divinity (M.Div.) degree with a focus on Divinity/Ministry. In 2010, Eric also obtained a certification as a Lean Facilitator from the University of Central Oklahoma. Additionally, they completed a Certified Associate program in Organizational Leadership at the Connective Leadership Institute in 2012. Eric further expanded their professional qualifications by obtaining certifications in HR-related fields. In 2012, they received the Professional in Human Resources certification from the HR Certification Institute, and in 2016, they became a SHRM - Senior Certified Professional through the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
