Luis Mendoza

Luis Mendoza has a diverse background in software engineering and leadership roles. Luis is currently working as the Head of Engineering & Data at Beek.io since January 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Head of Engineering at Beek.io from September 2021 to December 2021. Luis also worked as a Software Engineer at Lyft from April 2020 to August 2021, and as a CTO at Higo from January 2020 to April 2020. Before that, they held the position of Senior Software Engineer at Tandem from February 2018 to December 2019. Luis Mendoza also gained experience as a Software Engineer Technical Lead at GBM Grupo Bursatil Mexicano from August 2016 to February 2018. Additionally, they served as a Lead Frontend Engineer at Mercadoni from January 2016 to August 2016, and as a Software Engineer, Frontend at Yabit from March 2015 to January 2016. Prior to their career in software engineering, Luis Mendoza worked as a freelance photographer and videographer for various clients and publications from September 2011 to December 2015. Luis also served as a Software Engineer, Full Stack at Global Park from May 2014 to March 2015 and as the CTO & Co-Founder of FarmUp from March 2014 to November 2014.

Luis Mendoza completed their high school education at Colegio Vista Hermosa, where they pursued the International Baccalaureate program. Luis then went on to obtain an Engineer's Degree in Computer Engineering and Industrial Engineering from Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México. Additionally, they participated in a Special Program in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2014.
