Franco Simões has a diverse work history with experience in various roles and industries. Starting as a Cinematographer and Video Editor at Universidade Estadual de Campinas in 2013, Franco then became an Art Contributor at Incite Magazine in 2014, contributing to artistic visual content and creating layouts. In 2016, they worked as an Undergraduate Researcher at Universidade Estadual de Campinas. Starting in 2016, Franco also began freelancing as a Video & Motion Graphic Editor, providing services to various clients until 2017.
In 2016, Franco also started working as a Freelance UX Designer, specializing in user experience and interface design for startups and traditional companies. Their responsibilities included user research, user journey mapping, wireframing, and high-fidelity prototyping. Franco also conducted user interviews and tests to refine users' experience with the brands and products they worked on.
In 2017, Franco joined Liber Capital as a UX Designer and later became the Product Design Coordinator. In this role, they implemented Agile and Lean strategies to develop and organize projects. Franco conducted market and industry research, user interviews, and created user flow and service blueprints. Franco also played a key role in designing the user interface for Liber Capital's products, utilizing Adobe XD and Sketch. Additionally, they created and managed the company's Design System and developed medium and high-fidelity prototypes.
From 2019 to 2021, Franco worked at PlayKids, first as the Design Team Lead and later as the Brand Marketing Coordinator. Franco was responsible for leading the design team and improving the users' experience with the company's products. In the brand marketing role, they focused on coordinating brand initiatives and enhancing brand strength and trustworthiness.
From 2021 to 2023, Franco worked at Afterverse, first as an Associate Product Marketing Manager and then as a Product Marketing Specialist. Franco played a crucial role in product marketing and specialized in promoting and positioning products effectively in the market.
Currently, Franco holds the position of Lead Global Product Marketing Manager at BEES, where they utilize their extensive experience in product marketing to lead global initiatives and drive the success of BEES' products in the market.
Franco Simões pursued their undergraduate degree in Communication and Media Studies from Universidade Estadual de Campinas, completing it in 2016. In 2014 and 2015, they spent time as an exchange student at McMaster University, focusing on Comunicação e Mídia/Multimídia. Franco later became an "Estudante Especial" at Universidade Estadual de Campinas in 2022, specializing in "Cooperações e Confluências entre as Ciências Cognitivas e os Processos Criativo-Projetuais." Franco Simões also obtained various certifications throughout their education, including Product Analytics Certification from Mind the Product, Product Strategy from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management, Data Analytics from Tera, Foundations Certification from Brandwatch, and others.
