Dan Thompson

Dan Thompson started their work experience in 2011 as a Software Engineer/Intern at StartupDigest. From 2012 to 2013, they worked as a self-employed contractor, focusing on web development using Rails, jQuery, and third-party libraries. In 2013, they held a position as a Software Engineer for Crowdhub, where they built the backend of an eCommerce and content site using Rails. In 2014, they founded Quickbox Storage, a box-based physical storage business, where they built a web app backend in Rails and managed the storage and delivery operation. Since 2016, Dan has been working as a Senior Software Engineer at Beeswax, leading a software engineering team and specializing in machine learning.

Dan Thompson received a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Stanford University in 2014. Prior to attending Stanford, they completed their high school education at St. Paul's School.
