Dr. Thomas Lawing

Dr. Thomas Lawing currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer for Beeville Independent School District since August 2023. Prior to this role, Dr. Lawing worked as the Construction Manager for Gregory-Portland ISD from October 2021 to August 2023 and held various positions within the Aransas County Independent School District from September 2002 to October 2021, including Director of Safety and Operations, Director of Operational Services, and Information Systems Specialist. Educational achievements include a Doctor of Education (EdD) in Educational Leadership from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi (2020-2023), a Master’s degree in Instructional Design and Educational Technology from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi (2014-2015), a Bachelor's degree in Educational/Instructional Technology from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi (2004-2008), and an Associate's degree in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from Del Mar College (1999-2002).
