Insolvency Manager at Begbies Traynor

Daniel Oldham has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of insolvency and administration. Daniel started their career as a Senior Business Associate at Royal Bank of Scotland Business in 2006 and worked there until 2008. Daniel then joined The Insolvency Service and held various roles, including a Redundancy Payments Manager, from 2008 to 2014. During this time, they gained in-depth knowledge of insolvency legislation.

In 2014, Daniel worked as a Legal/Contracts Administrator at RES (Renewable Energy Systems Ltd) for a short period. From 2015 to 2018, they worked as a Senior Corporate & Personal Insolvency Administrator at Azets (formerly Wilkins Kennedy LLP), where they obtained their CPI qualification and gained experience in investigation-heavy insolvency work.

In 2018, they joined Alexander Lawson Jacobs as a Senior Insolvency Administrator and worked there until 2019. Daniel then moved to Begbies Traynor Group, where they held various roles, including Senior Insolvency Administrator, Assistant Insolvency Manager, and currently serves as an Insolvency Manager, starting in March 2022.

Throughout their career, Daniel has developed a thorough understanding of insolvency laws, procedures, and statutory requirements.

Daniel Oldham attended Bolton School Boys' Division from 1995 to 2002, where they completed their A-Levels and GCSEs. Following that, they enrolled at the University of Birmingham from 2002 to 2005, earning a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in History. In addition to their formal education, Daniel obtained a Certificate of Proficiency in Insolvency (CPI) from the Insolvency Practitioners Association (IPA) in July 2015, and a Certificate of Proficiency in HR from the Pitman Training Group Ltd. in September 2014.
