Sr. SQL Developer

Beghou Consulting is currently seeking an SQL Developer for our Hyderabad office. This position plays a key role in the development and maintenance of SQL Server databases, configuring front-end applications, reporting tools, and data collection systems as part of Beghou’s software development team. In this role, you will be instrumental in providing efficient solutions to business requests to comply with client requirements.

We'll trust you to:

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code to support SQL server databases and front-end applications.
• Configure UI/UX by linking to database objects and adding JavaScript/CSS to customize application behavior.
• Work closely with the software development team to understand UI application capabilities, and to communicate issues and feature requests.
• Ensure the best performance and quality of applications.
• Identify any issues and provide solutions to mitigate and address these issues.
• Assist in maintaining code quality, organization, and automation.
• Continuously expand the body of knowledge via research
• Comply with corporate quality policies and procedures.
• Ensure all training requirements are completed in a timely manner.
• Foster an innovative and inclusive team-oriented environment.
• Perform other project work as needed, based on client needs and internal team requests.

You'll need to have:

• Bachelors or Masters Degree.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in creating SQL Tables, Views, Indexes, and writing Stored procedures, Crafting SQL Tables, Views, Indexes, and proficiently scripting Stored Procedures, Table-Valued Functions, Scalar Functions, Triggers, and Joins.
• Demonstrated expertise in debugging and resolving complex queries.
• Proficiency in implementing Error Handling mechanisms such as Try/Catch and utilizing Pivot and Unpivot Operators.
• Thorough understanding and utilization of advanced SQL features including Common Table Expressions (CTE), Ranking Functions, While loops, Error Handling, and Cursor operations.
• Extensive experience with Azure services including Azure SQL Server and Azure Data Factory.
• Knowledge and experience working with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Experience in analyzing and optimizing queries to enhance database performance.
• Proven track record in loading SQL Server databases from raw data feeds including text files, CSV files, and Excel files.
• Ability to manage Azure Database environments effectively.
• Familiarity with source code control software, preferably GIT and DevOps.
• Familiarity with rule-based software design and implementation.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and demonstrate active listening skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within and across teams to achieve common goals.
• Willingness and ability to adapt to changing workloads and identify and address potential bottlenecks proactively.
