Daniel Markham

Daniel Markham joined beIN MEDIA GROUP in July 2014 as Senior Vice President of Content Strategy and he leads beIN Media’s global content acquisition group.

Daniel previously served at the National Basketball Association, as Senior Vice President, Media Distribution and Managing Director for emerging markets in EMEA. He also served as the NBA’s joint head of the region.

Prior to the NBA, and after a year long secondment to Cricket Australia, where he served as the General Manager of Media Rights and Strategy, Daniel spent four years at IMG Media in Hong Kong. He was deputy head of the Asia Pacific region.

In 2004, Daniel served as Vice President for business development and strategy at Octagon CSI.

Daniel started his career at the English Football Association (The FA) and held the position of Head of Broadcast and Media.
