Joe Lokken

Joe Lokken has a wealth of experience in the IT industry. Joe began their career in 1985 as an IT Consultant for Advanced Mechanical, Corporate Technologies, Racing Services, and Healthcare Accessories, where they acquired a reputation as a reliable problem solver for growing businesses. In 2000, they founded and served as CEO of MicroFrontiers, an information systems company recognized as a premier solution provider in North and South Dakota. Joe provided local and wide area networking solutions, computer management, IT security solutions, data mining, and software deployment for many small businesses throughout North and South Dakota.

In 2009, Joe began working with Horizon Energy Resources & Development as a Landman, conducting research and closing lease agreement negotiations for exploration and development of minerals in North Dakota and Montana. In 2013, they worked as Project Control for both Tioga Gas Plant Expansion and Hess - Tioga Gas Plant Expansion. Since 2014, Joe has worked as Enterprise Operations Manager for BEK Communications and as Lokken Properties, LLC.

Joe Lokken attended Scranton High School from 1970 to 1980, where they earned a diploma. Joe then attended Bismarck State College and Dickinson State University, but did not receive any additional degrees or certifications.
